This arrangement is for Beginning, Intermediate & Young Band students especially in classes-ensembles with a variety of instrumentation & skill levels.
 
The introductory strain is in unison, with percussion mirroring the melodic rhythm & having fun illustrating the lyrics. Snare rolls and other percussion techniques can be explored during longer note values. 
 
The second strain or verse alternates every two bars between all in unison with harmony parts. After that, everything is in 4 part Harmony while percussion explores more challenging rhythms and techniques echoing the sounds heard in or around a winter-time sleigh. 
 
Ranges are doubled in many parts allowing multiple solutions to the range issues of young players. Please feel free to encourage students to play in their most comfortable range while developing good tone quality.
